Short version. The Software runs on one person's computer and is used only by
that person. It collects nothing from anybody, sends nothing to third parties, and has
no server that could receive your data.
Who this applies to
Affiliate Studio is a personal, self-hosted tool. It has no public users. This policy describes how it handles the data of its single operator, and is published because TikTok requires developers to publish one.
What is stored, and where
- TikTok access and refresh tokens — written to a permission-restricted file on the operator's own computer so the connection survives a restart. They are never transmitted anywhere except to TikTok's own API.
- Basic account info — display name, avatar and account identifier, so the tool can show which account is connected.
- Videos and captions — created by the operator, stored locally, and sent to TikTok only when the operator chooses to send one.
What is not done
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising of any kind.
- No data is sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties.
- No data from other people's TikTok accounts is accessed or stored.
- No cookies are set, because there is no website that serves the tool.
Retention and removal
Data lives on the operator's computer until deleted there. TikTok access can be revoked at any time from TikTok's own settings, which immediately ends the Software's ability to reach the account; the stored tokens can then be deleted by removing the local file.
